![]() What a week. Although March Break didn't take us anywhere, we truly had an amazing road trip week. First of all... we planned an adventure. Jason has some vacation to use this summer and we have some states still left to see. So we have planned a road trip out west to cover some country and to see some sights. Flights, car rental and hotels are booked. This will not be a city vacation, but rather one to explore the great outdoors. On our last trip to Albuquerque our favourite day was the day we hiked the tent rocks. We knew right then that we had been missing the adventures that awaited us on the outskirts of the places we visited. We used to love camping, and once the kids were growing we hadn't done much of it. On this trip we're going to do our own version of a glamorized camping trip. Hotels and Motels during the nights, waterfalls, hiking trails and wildlife adventures during the day. Whales, Bison an d Big Horn Sheep are on the list to see....and lets just say its a good thing our rental will have unlimited mileage!!!! That's all the hints I am giving for now. The second cool thing that happened this week was that we were interviewed by Alisa from http://www.exploreall50.com . As a fellow road tripping family she wanted to know what we as Canadians do and see in our quest to visit all 50 states. We are super excited to see how our interview turns out on her blog. We'll let you know when it is posted. Happy dreaming of the road ahead!

Well we actually did it. We stayed home and traveled only as far as Windsor this March Break. The Con list won out for whether or not to go to Florida. We had visitors, and sleepovers, but no mileage was covered.... but that's okay because we have come up with the ultimate summer plan!!!!
